I called Boats and Fun from Tampa before we left for our trip to Cape Coral. I wanted to find out if they were able to accommodate my daughter who is 22 and uses a wheelchair. I wanted to visit Cabbage Key with both my daughters because I had been as a kid and had wonderful memories. Captain Mike and I spoke about the specifics of the trip and he just simply said, “We'll find a way.” We met at the marina and were able to lift Sarah (who only weighs 95 lbs) into the boat and place her travel wheelchair secure in the back for the ride. He stopped along the way to show us dolphins and then we had a beautiful ride to Cabbage Key. It was so relaxing and fun. He truly cares about making sure his customers have a good time and he was especially helpful with accommodating someone with a disability. My daughters had such a great time. I would suggest a ramp for the boat if you have a larger adult but for a small person or child with a disability it was pretty easy to get her in the boat. The restaurant has an accessible golf cart and the restaurant is accessible. If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars it would be 1000. It was one of the best days I've spent with my girls EVER!! Thank you, Captain Mike. You are a treasure.

Had a party of 11 - took a 3 hour boat tour to Cabbage Key from North Captiva. Mateas & the other boat captain were incredible! Highly recommend, and we kind of wish we had done 4 hours! #dolphins #cheeseburgerinparadise #manatees #edison #tesla #worthit

The boat ride to Boca Grande was fun and relaxing. Captain Andrew was very knowledgeable about each island we passed. He took his time with us and let us enjoy the dolphins and manatees swimming among us. We would definitely book with Boats and Fun again!

Literally the highlight of our trip. Matias was the absolute best. He found one random dolphin then all of a sudden we had 6 or 7 dolphins riding the waves of the boat. Knows all the history around the island… very respectful of all wildlife. He was the absolute best

The Boat’s and Fun staff are some of the friendliest, helpful and kind people you will run into on the island. Knowledgeable about their business and location and very conversational while just passing the time with their patrons. All of your island and on the water needs can be met in one spot, while visiting North Captiva.

We took a private island tour with Boats and Fun and it was amazing! “Captain Bill” took us to a secluded sandbar where we found dozens of sand dollars, and then around to Cabbage Key where we had an amazing lunch and the kids got to play with tortoises! Bill was full of stories and information about the islands we passed... and we even got some aerial photos from his manager who did a “fly by” in their plane! 📸🏆

Went over on the boat and rented a cart for the day. These folks are great. They explained everything to us thoroughly. Guys in the office were fantastic. Gave us a ride back to Mainstay to catch the boat back.

Great staff. Super friendly. Great communication before we arrived on island and during our stay. We rented a golf cart for the week, a half day fishing charter with Capt. Phil (caught lots of fish), a private Hurricane boat for the day to explore Cabbage Key area and our ladies chartered a private taxi with Capt. Bill over to Boca Grande. 5-star hands down!

What an amazing day out on the water in And around N Captiva. Robin was an amazing captain and it made such a great day on the water for myself, my wife and 2 kids. Saw dolphins, manatees and other wildlife. Ate lunch at Cabbage Key, and even got some swimming in. 6 hour tour was well worth it and probably one of the highlights of our vacation. Definitely worth it! Thank you Captain Robin!!

Super easy rental process with a friendly and knowledgeable staff! We enjoyed a day island hopping and some swimming. Would recommend if you are in North Captiva and want to explore the area for a day
